Dear friends and supporters of Southeastern:

Thank you for taking the time to learn about the campaign for Southeastern and our focus on Fulfilling the Great Commission.  This portion of our website is dedicated to explaining why we encourage you to support Southeastern.  It also features many tax-preferred ways of contributing to the work Jesus is doing in and through our faculty, staff, and students both at home and around the world.

Private giving undergirds everything we do.  By way of the Cooperative Program, millions of Southern Baptists support the training of God-called men and women for Christian service every year.  We never forget this.

This website outlines the basics on how you can help us meet needs and capitalize on opportunities which exceed our current budget.  The joys of serving as the president at Southeastern are many, but one of the most challenging parts of my job is declining reasonable budget requests because funds are not available.

Opportunities to make a significant impact here are abundant.  More and more students are responding to God’s call to international missions.  Others are stepping up to proactively defend the faith in an increasingly secular society.  Thousands more are learning to accurately proclaim the Word of God.  When you support Southeastern, you make a Kingdom investment – an investment we take seriously and pledge to use wisely.

God is on the move here. The Lord uses special gifts from people like you to make the difference between dreaming about possibilities and doing what he intends. Thank you for considering Southeastern, and thank you for helping us as we seek to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission.

Gratefully yours,
