Alvin Reid
Alvin Reid serves as Associate Dean for Proclamation Studies and Professor of Evangelism at Southeastern, in addition to holding the Bailey Smith Chair of Evangelism at the seminary. In addition to his role as a professor, Reid is well-known as a speaker for youth conferences and evangelism events, as the bass guitar player for the band Finding Madison, and as the author of over 200 books and articles.
Some of his work includes the books, Raising the Bar, Radically Unchurched,and Introduction to Evangelism,along with numerous articles on evangalism and reaching the culture.
Reid holds degrees from Samford University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
