Welcome to the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture. It is my pleasure and privilege to serve as the second director of this Center which serves both the Church and the SBC in general and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in particular. In this, the Center is uniquely positioned at the intersection of faith and culture where it can engage culture with the claims of the Christian faith, encouraging meaningful conversation where differences presently prevail. The intention of the Center is to engage culture as salt and light bringing the Christian faith to bear upon all areas of the human experience and to do so in a spirit of Christian love and respect. It desires to think and act Christianly both in private and in public discourse. It is dedicated to providing a responsible voice in the public square speaking Christianly both in content and in spirit to the issues and concerns facing contemporary culture. In addition, the Center is committed to supporting, encouraging and helping the community of faith in all aspects of its mission and ministry. Thank you for your interest in the Center and it is our hope we can serve you in some way in the future.
