God Exposed: Awkward Preaching in a Comfortable Age

September 25-26, 2009

Sponsored by 9Marks and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

God Exposed Conference Promo from Southeastern Seminary on Vimeo.

God Exposed will call pastors and church leaders to embrace and defend expositional preaching as a means to strengthen and grow the church. Expositional preaching - schedulethat which has as its aim to explain and apply a particular portion of God's Word - is especially important in a day when many are abandoning faithfulness to the Scripture in their pulpit ministries. This conference will encourage and train pastors whose primary calling is ministering the Word of God to their people.

UPDATE: Baptist21 is hosting a panel discussion during the Friday lunch time featuring several of the conference speakers. The event will take place in the Ledford Student Center from 12:15 to 1:30. The cost is $5 per person. You can sign up on the Baptist21 website or buy a ticket at the check in on Friday morning. Seating is limited to 220 and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: This event is not included in your conference ticket price or conference registration process.
