  • Children: Nathan attends Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is preparing for ministry.
  • Jonathan is married to Ashley, and they have one daughter, Maddy, and they are expecting their second daughter in April. He is a pastor in Louisville and also attends The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing the Ph.D. in Old Testament.
  • Paul is married to Kari, and they have one son, Micah Elliot. They are currently serving on the mission field.
  • Tim is married to Anna and they have one son, Levi Michael. Tim is coaching football overseas.

Daniel Akin is president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is a respected theologian, preacher, and evangelical leader. He and his wife Charlotte have four sons, three daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren.
