The Office of Admissions is the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families. They seek to serve prospective students by providing information about the proems at Judson College and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Additionally, the office hosts prospective students on campus visits and works with prospective students’ applications.

Hailing from the small town of Thomasville, AL, Thomas completed a BA in Theology from the University of Mobile in 2014. He moved to Wake Forest in 2018 to pursue an MA in Biblical Languages. After completing the MA, he began a PhD in New Testament that is currently in progress. He aspires to instill a love for the New Testament to fellow believers and future students. When he is not in the classroom or reading for seminars, he enjoys intricate coffee, reading fiction, travelling, hiking, and various recreational sports with friends.
Hollyann Gardner
MA, Graduate Certificate, & Credit-Only Admissions Counselor
Hollyann grew up in the small town of Efland, NC with her parents and five younger siblings. From there, she graduated in May 2024 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Psychology from Anderson University. Currently, she is pursuing a MA in Christian Marital, Family, and Individual Counseling at Southeastern with the hopes of becoming a licensed counselor. Hollyann is passionate about reaching people through intentional conversation and glorifying God through the arts. While not studying or at work, Hollyann enjoys reading, visiting coffee shops, hiking, and baking sweet treats.
Evan Lyon

Born and raised in Lancaster, PA, Evan attended Cedarville University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in 2023. After graduation, he married his bride, Emily, before moving down to Wake Forest. Evan is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Missiology here at Southeastern. His desire is to work to make disciples and plant churches among the nations and encourage others to do likewise. In his spare time, Evan enjoys golfing, travelling, finding a new coffee shop, and camping with his wife and black lab, Nova.
Noah Siak
Undergraduate Admissions Counselor
Noah started at Southeastern in January 2023 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. He has a passion for reaching the lost for Christ and hopes to serve as an overseas church planter. Noah is a life-long member of lyne Community Church in Marion, NC, serving in their worship, children’s and youth ministry. He now serves at The Summit Church in their Kids Ministry and Foster Care Ministry He loves being with people, hiking, and serving at local foster care and special needs events. Noah loves Judson College and can’t wait to walk alongside you as you start your journey here at Southeastern!
Camille Doane
International Student Counselor
Raised in Georgia, Camille moved to North Carolina from Athens, GA where she spent several years serving in college ministry and completing a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Southeastern at a distance. She moved to Wake Forest in 2021 to begin pursuing a ThM in Missiology and hopes to join a church planting team here or abroad in a university city. She loves enjoying cross-cultural friendships, cooking and eating new foods, painting, and running.

Jessica is originally from the beautiful country of Brazil. She moved to Wake Forest, with her husband Caden, August 2020 to pursue a master’s degree and be better equipped to serve the local church. Hiking, reading, singing, and going on bike rides are some of the activities Jessica and her husband enjoy doing together.

Originally from Alabaster, Alabama, Ryan moved to Wake Forest in February of 2021. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Troy University and is hoping to pursue his Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry in the fall of 2021. His desire is to see people enjoy life with Jesus. He enjoys coffee shops, basketball, movies and exploring new places with his wife, Taylor.
Chandler McLean
Enrollment and Events Specialist
A native of Fayetteville, NC, Chandler recently completed her Master of Divinity degree in Christian Ministry and plans to pursue a PhD. It is her privilege to help students explore Southeastern’s role in their lives as they worship and serve Christ. She looks forward to hosting Preview Day and assisting with orientation for new students. In her spare time, she loves reading fiction and creating memories with loved ones at home and around the world.

Zach is from Reidsville, North Carolina, and moved to Wake Forest in 2022. He came to study for a Bachelor’s degree in student ministry and plans to graduate from the college in December of 2024. Zach has a desire to see students know and grow in their relationship with the Lord and hopes to do student ministry long term. Zach’s hobbies include hanging out with friends, especially his Fiancée Read, watching and playing sports, and being involved in college life around campus.
Taylor Wynn

Taylor is originally from Centre, Alabama, and moved to Wake Forest in August 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Auburn University and is currently pursuing her Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry here at Southeastern. Taylor desires to disciple younger generations and encourage them to grow in their relationship with the Lord. During her free time, you can find Taylor cycling, thrifting, gardening, and hiking with her golden retriever, Sophie.
Shelby Hand
Campus Host
Shelby is a Wake Forest local, having graduated with her undergraduate degree from Judson College in 2023. She then finished her MBA from Louisiana State University in 2025. Shelby is part of a recently launched church plant in the area known as Faith Franklinton, and it is one of her greatest blessings! If you catch her outside of the office, she is likely reading a fiction book, spending time with her fiancé, or hanging out with her friends and small group!
Admissions – Doctor of Philosophy
The Office of Ph.D. Studies invites all eligible persons to complete the application as specified in the directions on the Online Application page. Admission to the Ph.D. program is selective and is offered only to students who have demonstrated the intellectual ability, preparation and motivation to perform academically at the highest level. Enrollment in the program is limited to applicants who, in the judgment of the faculty, appear best qualified and most capable of using the resources that the seminary provides.
Admissions – Doctor of Education
The EdD is a professional, terminal research degree with a commuter-friendly, modified residency format. On-campus time is limited to one week per quarter, with online coursework before and sometimes after class sessions. Students move through the coursework as part of a cohort, which is usually a group of 10-12 students. The cohort format provides a community of scholars in which iron sharpens iron. Admissions – Doctor of Ministry
The program of study required for the DMin degree will take students no fewer than three academic years and no greater than six years. Entering students must understand the high level of commitment that is required to actively participate in this degree program year round for this period of time.

Adam Saxon
Director of Instructional Design
Adam resides in Rolesville, NC. He is married to Stephanie and has five children. He earned a MDiv and MAIS from Southeastern and has served as a missionary in both Central Asia and East Asia. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education at Southeastern.
Chandler Collins
Lead Instructional Designer
Chandler is a three time graduate of Southeastern. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theology in May 2021, his Master of Divinity in December 2024, as well as his Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies in May 2025. He is passionate about church history and is pursuing his PhD in Early Church History at the University of Aberdeen (Scotland). Chandler is married to Lauren, who is pursuing her PhD in New Testament at Southeastern. He has a passion for academic administration and theological education.

Anya earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Christian Studies at Charleston Southern University in May 2025 and is now a graduate student at Southeastern, pursuing a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership. She is passionate about providing resources to help others fulfill the purpose God has for them. Anya is married to Chaz who is pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies at Southeastern. She loves to sew, cook, and chat over coffee.

Hannah is currently working on her PhD in Biblical Studies: Old Testament. She received a BA in anthropology from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and her MDiv from Southeastern. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys gardening and ballroom dancing.

Beau Landers
Director of Church Partnerships
A native Texan, Beau is married to Sarah and has three children. He earned his PhD in Biblical Studies (emphasis in Theology) and ThM in Pedagogy from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, his MDiv from Southeastern, and his BA in Christian Studies from Ouachita Baptist University. Before joining the Southeastern staff, Beau served as a Teaching Pastor at a church in the North Dallas area for nearly a decade. Currently he oversees the Equip Network and Certificate office as the Director of Church Partnerships, and his heartbeat is to help bridge the gap between the local church and the seminary by making theological education accessible and contextual.
Brandi Kitchin

Brandi is originally from just outside of St. Louis, MO and has lived in Wake Forest since January of 2019. In her time at Southeastern, Brandi has completed her BA in Justice and Social Ethics and is now working towards her MA in Ministry Leadership. After graduation, she hopes to serve overseas in a logistics capacity, but in the meantime, she is enjoying the opportunity to serve Southeastern’s certificate students. Other things she enjoys are Cardinal baseball, outdoor adventures with her dog, and donuts with her husband.

Empowering local churches and ministry organizations to take an active role in the theological education of their students. Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary believes that some theological education is best done in partnership with the local church. The Equip Network empowers churches and ministry organizations to offer accredited and accessible courses to students at the highest level of theological training. The Equip Network weds the seminary experience with real life ministry opportunities to provide students with the most integrative ministry training available. Students can fulfill their remaining degree requirements through our integrative online, hybrid and/or campus-based classes.

Bradley Eaves
Associate Director
Bradley Eaves joined the Equip Network team as Associate Director in the summer of 2023, having served Southeastern in other roles since 2018. He is passionate about the intersection of theological education and the local church and seeing students trained theologically within the context of the ministries they serve. He earned his MDiv in Christian Ministries in 2021 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Systematic Theology. He originally hails from the great state of Mississippi. He’s been married to his sweet bride, Frances, since August of 2011, and they have two daughters.
Gracelyn Jones

Gracelyn is originally from Wake Forest and became a student in Judson College in 2021. She is now working on completing her MA in Christian Studies to serve wherever God will have her. Gracelyn most enjoys spending time with her husband and family, going to the beach, playing with her dogs, and watching Disney movies.

Corban was born in the mountains of North Carolina. At the age of two, Corban and his family moved to North Myrtle Beach, SC. He is currently attending Judson College as part of the 5-year BA/MDiv Timothy Scholars program. Corban hopes to one day teach in the higher education setting. During his free time, Corban enjoys hanging out with friends, going on runs, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.

Drew is a Raleigh native, but also has lived in London and Birmingham. He and his wife, Hannah, are camp sweethearts and have three sons, Reece, Johnny and Oliver! He has a BA in History from Samford and a MEd in Higher Education Administration from NC State, which lead to his sports allegiances of the Wolfpack and the Samford Bulldogs. He is currently studying for his next degree, the EdD at Southeastern.

Assistant Director of Church & Convention Relations
Hailing from Pickens, SC, Chris has lived in beautiful places such as South Florida and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. His family has quite the legacy in Baptist life, which ultimately led him to pursue his education at Southeastern, driving in him a passion for fulfilling the Great Commission. Chris earned an Associate’s degree in Christian Ministries from Fruitland Baptist Bible College in Hendersonville, NC, in 2009. He then completed his B.A. in Biblical Studies at Judson College in Wake Forest, NC, in 2013. Continuing his education, Chris obtained an M.A. in Christian Ministry & Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, in 2018. He works closely with Baptist Associations and State Conventions across the country. In his free time, you can find Chris reading or walking. Once a year, Chris goes on a tour of lighthouses and has visited over 200 lighthouses so far!
Meredith Cook

A South Carolina native, Meredith came to Southeastern in 2013 and received a Masters of Divinity in Missiology. After a few years living and serving in Houston, TX, the Lord called Meredith and her family to return to Wake Forest and to Southeastern Seminary. Her husband, Keelan, serves as the Director for the Center of Great Commission Studies. Meredith enjoys raising her two children, reading, and writing on her own website.

Jessica has lived in Statesboro, GA most of her life, but has been living in Raleigh since August of 2021. She married her husband, Dawson, in December of 2021 and they are enjoying their time as newlyweds with their golden retriever puppy, Brinkley. Jessica is a Disney, soda, and pizza fanatic who loves trying new restaurants. She loves watching movies/shows or going on walks/hikes but is willing to try any new activity if it means hanging out with friends and family.
Tanner Keen

Tanner is originally from West Virginia, where he attended Marshall University and received his BA in Political Science. Marshall is also where he met his wife, Delaney. They moved to Wake Forest, NC after their wedding for Tanner to begin his M.Div at Southeastern. Tanner is very close with his family and loves spending time around his friends. He has cheered for Virginia Tech football since before he could talk, and his love for the Hokies has become one of his biggest personality traits. In his free time, Tanner enjoys reading a book, playing disc golf, making music, and eating ice cream.

Born and raised in Houston, TX, David attended Texas A&M University and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2016. He then worked as a Case Manager for people living with HIV for five years before moving to Wake Forest in 2021 with his wife, Sarah, to pursue theological education. David is pursuing an MA in Christian Marriage, Family and Individual Counseling in hopes of becoming a licensed counselor. David loves spending time with Sarah, doing anything outside (hiking, running, disc golf, spikeball, etc.), being with friends, and trying new foods.

Taylor grew up in Alabama and earned her degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. After serving two terms in Asia with the International Mission Board, she developed a passion for connecting across cultures. That journey led her to Southeastern, where she’s now studying Cross-Cultural Counseling. Outside of school, Taylor is happiest with a cup of coffee, some yarn and a crochet hook, or outside on a hike soaking up the sunshine.

Kayla is a proud Floridian from the town of Lake Placid. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in South Georgia. She began her studies at Southeastern in 2022 to pursue an M.A. in Student Ministry. Outside of her coursework, Kayla enjoys baking, photography, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with friends.

Jonathan is from Union, SC and has been married to Charity for 21 years and they have a 15-year-old son, Nathaniel. They moved to Wake Forest in January 2011 for him to pursue his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Southeastern. He loves to play golf and enjoys a great cup of coffee.

Originally from Texas, Caleb started his undergraduate studies at Scarborough College at Southwestern Seminary however after meeting his wife Lydia he completed the degree at Southern Seminary with Boyce College. They moved to Wake Forest in the Fall of 2023 for him to pursue his MDiv in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry at Southeastern. Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife and golden retriever Hank, playing various sports (soccer, football, disc golf, etc.), drinking coffee, and watching Texas sports such as the Dallas Cowboys and A&M Aggies.

Caroline grew up in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina and in East Asia. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Education, then spent a few years abroad. In 2023 she moved to Wake Forest to pursue a degree in Ministry Leadership and Biblical Counseling, with a desire to help equip and serve teams on the field. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, running, reading, and spending time outdoors!

Dave Phillips
Director of Student Resources and Financial Aid
Dave has been working in the Student Resources and Financial Aid office since 2019 and became the Director of the office in December 2021. He also teaches as an adjunct professor at Judson College. He and his wife Julie have been married since 2003 and have three children. Originally from Wheaton, Illinois, Dave has lived in Wake Forest since 2013 and graduated from Southeastern with a PhD in Biblical Studies. Dave is a nerd and loves fantasy and science-fiction (especially Star Wars), playing basketball, smoking meat, and he will gladly sit down to talk about the book of Revelation.

Skyler serves the Southeastern community as the Associate Director of Financial Aid. In January 2022, she married Nick Nail, who serves Southeastern as the Chapel Coordinator, in the beautiful Savannah Georgia. Pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry, Skyler desires to come alongside women to evangelize, equip and encourage them in their walk with the Lord.

Joe is originally from the small town of Buena Vista, Ga. He moved to Statesboro, Georgia in 2017 to attend Georgia Southern University where he earned a BS in Multimedia Film & Production. He moved to Wake Forest in 2023 to attend Southeastern in person and is currently working on his Master of Divinity in Christian Ethics here at Southeastern. Joe desires to disciple college students and to bring the gospel of Christ Jesus to college campuses across the United States. Joe loves playing piano, reading, Atlanta sports teams, and spending time with his Church family at Christ Church.

Laurie serves Southeastern as the Government Financial Aid Coordinator. Laurie is originally from Oklahoma and graduated with her B.S. in Agricultural Communications from Oklahoma State University in 2017. She relocated to Wake Forest from Washington D.C. in 2023 and is pursuing an MA in Christian Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling here at Southeastern. Laurie is always happy to talk about all things animals, growing up on a farm, or the latest book on your reading list.

External Financial Aid Coordinator
Born and raised in Alachua, Florida, Alex now serves the Southeastern Community as the Institutional Financial Aid Coordinator. Alex is in the Timothy Scholars program pursuing his BA and MDiv in Pastoral Ministry with the goal to use this training to disciple younger generations and support local pastors. Alex is most at home reading a good book on the beach and is always looking for new book recommendations.
Jacob Quinn
Financial Aid Assistant for Military Affairs
Jacob was born in Winston-Salem NC and lived there for the first 12 years of his life then moved to Clayton NC. Jacob has been enrolled at Judson College since 2021 and is in our BA Global Studies Program. Jacob has a huge heart for missions and desires to see those who have never heard of the gospel have the opportunity to do so. Jacob loves to talk about and participate in anything sports, Lord of the Rings, and the outdoors. He loves hanging out and playing boardgames with his wife, friends, and family.
Brady Boatwright

Brady was born and raised in Academy, Texas, before moving to Dallas where he earned his B.S. in Biology at Dallas Baptist University. He moved to Wake Forest in 2024 and is pursuing an MDiv in Christian Ministry. Brady married his wife Anna in the summer of 2025 and enjoys watching movies, playing board games, and engaging in his community at Christ Covenant Church in Raleigh.

Dawn Satterwhite
Director of Human Resources
Dawn has served Southeastern in Human Resources since 2005. Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, she and her husband, David, moved to Wake Forest in 1990. They have two daughters, currently two granddaughters, and are long time members of Richland Creek Community Church. Dawn received a BS in Accounting from North Carolina Wesleyan College. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, puzzles, reading, and relaxing on the beach.
Andrew Cook
Human Resources Generalist
Andrew is originally from Blacksburg, VA where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Virginia Tech. After graduating, he served for two years in campus ministry at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, building relationships and sharing the gospel with the nations as they came to campus. He then worked in project management for another couple of years before moving to Wake Forest in 2023. He is currently working on a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Counseling and hopes to work in a cross-cultural context. He loves the outdoors, reading a good book at a coffee shop, concerts, deep conversations with friends, and building Lego (stop by Stealey 217 to see some of his collection).

Originally from Louisiana, he moved to Wake Forest/Southeastern in 2015. He has completed his MA in Biblical & Theological Studies here at Southeastern and is currently pursuing his PhD in Theological Studies, while his wife, Kathrynn, is pursuing her JD at Campbell Law School. He desires to change the world by playing his part in the second greatest commission of 2 Cor 5:18-19. Will and Kathrynn are members of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh and love cooking, traveling, and spending time with their church small group.

Jenna serves as the Curriculum Coordinator in the Registrar’s Office. Originally from New Hampshire, she moved to North Carolina in 2016 to pursue a BS in Global Studies and went on to complete a MA in Intercultural Studies. She and her husband, Chad, live in Wake Forest and are part of the Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church family. Jenna and Chad hope to one day serve internationally in an underserved region. They both enjoy reading, music, spending time with friends, game nights, and hiking.

He grew up in Midland, Texas, did his Undergraduate degree at Dallas Baptist University, and moved to Wake Forest to become an MDiv student here at Southeastern in 2021. He and his wife, Amanda, are members at Christ Covenant Church in Raleigh and serve in various capacities. In their free time, the Giffins love to spend time with friends, play board games, and eat good food. Long term, he desires to serve in pastoral ministry wherever the Lord calls them.
Hunter Davis
Transcript Specialist
Hunter serves in the Registrar’s Office as the Service Specialist. She grew up in Kinston, NC, completed her undergraduate degree at UNC Chapel Hill, and is now obtaining her MA in Christian Marital, Family, and Individual Counseling. She and her husband, Andrew, are members at Covenant Hope Church. Andrew graduated with his MDiv from Southeastern in 2023. They hope to one day serve overseas in the UK. They enjoy exploring new coffee shops, hiking, traveling, and spending time with their family & friends.
Danny Bingham
Service Specialist
Danny is originally from Mansfield, TX and has been married to his wife Jessica for 3 years. He is the proud stepfather of Jason and Angie. Danny loves Jesus, Formula 1, good food, and video games (in that order).
Karissa McKnight
Administrative Assistant
Karissa has lived in four different states. Her family currently lives in Inman S.C. She has twin brothers and a younger sister. She graduated in December of 2023 with her Bachelors in Music from Anderson University. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministry. After she graduates Karissa plans on working in the church in the areas of discipleship and worship leading. When she is not in the classroom Karissa enjoys being out in nature, singing, playing guitar, and spending time with her family and friends.

Security
The Department of Campus Security exists to maintain a safe and secure campus environment and to protect the institution’s assets in order to facilitate Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary's mission. To meet this mission, we employ Security Officers to monitor our campus 24 hours a day and 365 days of the year, including nights, weekends and holidays. Campus Security also works closely with the Wake Forest Police Department, the Wake Forest Fire Department and Wake County EMS to ensure fast responses to any needs or emergencies that might arise on Southeastern's campus.

Dr. Mark Liederbach
Vice President of Student Life / Dean of Students
Mark has been teaching at Southeastern since 2000 and has served as the dean of students since 2009.
He holds his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in Theology, Ethics, and Culture, his Master’s from Denver Seminary in Historical and Theological Studies, and his B.S. from James Madison University in Energy Resource Development. Mark has several books and articles published in the fields of Ethics and Discipleship – both of which are the areas of his ministry passions.
While he is grateful for those things, Mark considers being married to Harriette as his lifetime achievement award. Together they have three kids and currently two grandkids. Mark loves anything sports and outdoor related, plucks on a guitar now and then, and is always anticipating his next visit to a national park.
Dr. Drew Ham
Associate Vice President of Student Life
Drew is originally from southern Maryland. He enjoys sports, and hunting. He met his bride, Shelly, in 2001, and they now have 4 children. He got his undergraduate degree from Barton College, and received his master’s and doctorate degrees from Southeastern.
Jake Hatfield
Director of College Life
As the director of college life at Southeastern, Jake has the privilege of working with a great team of people to foster a vibrant community where students are challenged to give their lives for the Cause of Christ. Shaping young minds that are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission is one of his greatest joys. To that end, Jake is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics to better serve and lead the next generation of students. Him and his wife love Wake Forest and the Southeastern community and are currently raising three little (… not so little anymore) munchkins. Beyond his professional and nerdy pursuits, Jake loves being outside. A good trail-run, or time in the woods on a mountain bike are a few of his favorite things.
Matt Koser
Director of Graduate Life
Matt and his wife, Amanda moved from Charleston, SC in 2023 to finish up his MDiv at Southeastern. They had their first child, Levi, on leap day in 2024. Matt also has campus ministry experience and served in the Air Force on the bomb squad. He plans to start a ThM in 2025 and desires to use his training at Southeastern for pastoral ministry. Matt and Amanda are members at Imago Dei Church in North Raleigh. His favorite book is Delighting in the Trinity by Michael Reeves.
Austin Hazeres
Graduate Life Assistant
Raised in Cincinatti, OH, Austin received his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at Western Kentucky University in 2023. Shortly after graduating, he married his wife Callie before taking a job in Cincinatti. After a year in OH he moved down to Wake Forest to pursue a Master of Divinity in Advanced Biblical Studies here at Southeastern. He is passionate about illuminating the beauty of the Old Testament and connecting the OT back to the person of Jesus. Austin enjoys building Legos, fishing, and exercise.
Erin Owen
House System and Discipleship Supervisor
Erin serves in the Student Life Office as the Assistant House System and Discipleship Supervisor. She moved from Lincolnton, NC in 2018 to pursue her undergraduate in Christian Counseling at Judson College. Erin is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Education. She is passionate about discipleship and seeing brothers and sisters in Christ grow in their love and understanding of the Lord. Erin is a member of North Wake Church and enjoys reading, going on walks, spending time with friends, and cooking new dishes.
Andrew Jarboe
Assistant to the Vice President for Student Life, Disability Resources Coordinator
Andrew serves as the Assistant to the Vice President for Student Life as well as the Disability Services Coordinator. Andrew is pursuing his Advanced M.Div. and loves to spend time outdoors, working with his hands, and running. He is in the Navy as a Chaplain Candidate, and strives to do life-on-life discipleship and equip others to do so. During his free time, you can find him outside or with the iron-sharpening-iron friends God has blessed him with.
Kelsey Hamilton
Counseling Coordinator
Kelsey Hamilton enjoys counseling women, teaching, and training future counselors, believing that the ultimate goal of counseling is the sanctification of both counselee and counselor. She oversees the Counseling Center on campus and is a three-time graduate of Southeastern, most recently earning her Ph.D. in 2024. She’s also a proud Raleigh native who enjoys good Tex-Mex, social documentaries, and personalized book recommendations. Most of all, she loves to spend time with her husband and two boys, and they have been part of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh since 2022.
Megan O’Leary
Women’s Life Assistant
Megan is originally from Johnson City, TN where she earned her Bachelors in Clinical Psychology from East Tennessee State University. She moved to Wake Forest in 2022 and is currently pursuing her MA in Christian Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling. She hopes to use her degree to walk alongside couples, families, and individuals during life’s most difficult times while reminding them of the hope of the Gospel! Megan loves community and spends most of her free time with her friends, getting coffee, or thrift shopping!
Caleb Martin
Administrative Assistant to the Associate Vice President of Student Life
Caleb is originally from Nashville, TN, but he relocated to Plymouth, MI, in 2017. He started his college journey at the University of Michigan but felt called to ministry, leading him to transfer to Southeastern in the Spring of 2023. At Southeastern, he is pursuing both a BA and an MDiv in Pastoral Ministry. Caleb has been a member of Open Door Church in Raleigh since the Spring of 2024. His friends often tease him about his distinct, nasally northern accent. When he’s not studying, Caleb enjoys lifting weights and spending time outdoors.
Candi Powers
Women’s Life Coordinator
Candi serves Southeastern as the Women’s Life Coordinator, working with the graduate student females on campus. She and her husband Mike met here as students in 2003. They were married in 2005 and now have three kids. An Oklahoma native, Candi earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages degree from Southeastern. Candi enjoys cheering for the Oklahoma Sooners, savoring good food, connecting with people, and traveling
Micah Osborne
Ledford Center Coordinator
Micah is from Prince George, Virginia and came to Southeastern in the fall of 2023 to pursue a BA & MDiv in student ministry. After he graduates, Micah wants to be a part of a new church plant in a major college town and reach college students with the Gospel. In his free time, he enjoys exercising and spending time with his amazing fiancée, Lana, who he will marry in December of this year.
