Discipleship and Mentoring

The Doctor of Education with a concentration in Discipleship and Mentoring is a terminal professional degree that prepares scholars to develop others who are called to serve through discipleship and mentoring. This academic experience provides students with additional professional skills needed to teach in the local church and higher education, problem solve using science research techniques, and influence the thinking in this field through writing that is both biblical and academically persuasive.

EdD - Discipleship & Mentoring

Graduates will be able to apply biblical concepts and educational theory in their chosen area of ministry. Some of the classes offered in this program are:

  • EDD 8142 – Mentoring and Developing Leaders
  • EDD 8140 – Spiritual Formation and Discipleship
  • EDD 8110 – Leading and Managing the Non-Profit Organization
  • EDD 8141 – The Personal Life of the Mentor
