Student Life

Children 15 and under must have close adult supervision.
Youth 16 and 17 do not need supervision but need a waiver and a valid school ID (Or be the guest of someone with a valid SEBTS ID and who is 18 or older).
Persons 18 and older need a valid SEBTS ID (or be a guest).
NOTE: For safety reasons, children 15 and under may not participate in any Ledford Center Gymnasium pick-up games.

Children 15 and under are not allowed in the Fitness Center for any reason.
Youth 16-17 need adult supervision with a signed waiver by someone with a valid SEBTS ID.
Persons over the age of 18 need a valid SEBTS ID (or be a guest).

All guests are required to fill out a waiver to use the facility. The waiver is valid for a period of two years from the date it was signed. All minors (17 years and under), regardless of whether they are a dependent or guest, must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver of release form.

·      Only SEBTS members with a valid SEBTS ID are allowed to bring guests.

o   No one 17 years or under can bring a guest regardless of whether he or she has a valid ID or not.

·      SEBTS members are limited to two guests per visit.

·      Each guest must be checked in by his or her sponsor at the Front Desk. Guests cannot access the facility without a sponsor. Guests must depart when his or her sponsor departs.

At 9:00pm, Ledford will be limited to SEBTS members (students, faculty, staff, and alumni) with a SEBTS ID Card
Beginning at 9:00pm, all patrons, including those already in the building, will need to present their SEBTS ID Card to the front desk
Guests will only be allowed in Ledford after 9:00pm with an ID-carrying sponsor and must be accompanied by their sponsor at all times.
Guests will also need to present a picture ID (such as a driver’s license) to the front desk.

Definition of Guest:

A guest is anyone who wants to utilize the Ledford Center recreation facilities and is not a SEBTS or Judson College student, faculty, staff, alumni or dependent. Guests may utilize the facilities as long as their sponsor is with them at all times.

Sponsoring a Guest:

A guest may be checked in by a student, faculty member, staff, alumni or dependent, who is at least 18 years old, and has a current school ID. That person becomes the guest’s sponsor. No one under the age 18 can check-in as a guest. Before utilizing the facilities, all guests must be checked in by their sponsor at the front desk through the Ledford Center Sign-In Program. A sponsor may not have more than 2 guests at any time.

Sponsor Responsibilities:

• The sponsor must bring his or her guest(s) to the front desk and sign them in.
• The sponsor is responsible for the actions of his or her guest, including language, conduct, and proper use of equipment and/or facility.
• The sponsor must remain with their guests at all times.
• When the sponsor leaves the Ledford Center, the sponsor must bring his or her guest(s) to the front desk to check-out.

Infractions:

If a guest does not have a sponsor and tries to use the recreation facilities, he or she will be asked to leave. To qualify for guest privileges, a guest must have a sponsor with them already, and may not petition SEBTS members in the Ledford Center to serve as his or her sponsor.

Equipment checkout is available at the Ledford Center front desk. Items are intended for use within the facility and there is an ID checkout policy. An automatic e-mail is sent if items are not returned, or if your ID is left at the desk.
